Who we are?
The Research Unit 'The Enteric Nervous System in Gut and Brain Disorders (TENS)' is a joint research unit (UMR Inserm 1235) member of IMAD and accredited by the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) and the University of Nantes.
Created on 1 January 2008 and renewed by the HCERES (Higher Committee for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education) in 2011 and 2016, it is made up of 2 research directors (1 INSERM and 1 CNRS), 5 Inserm statutory researchers, 4 Post Doctorant, 1 senior lecturer at the Faculty of Sciences of Nantes and of Angers, 8 engineers/technicians, 2 administrative staff, 2 project managers, and 12 doctors from the University Hospital of Nantes, including 8 professors or university lecturers-practitioners (3 PU-PH in Gastroenterology, 1 PU-PH in Digestive Surgery, 1 PU-PH in Neurology, 1PU-PH and 1MCU-PH in Biochemistry, 1 PU-PH in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and 3 Hospital Practitioners (PH ) in Gastroenterology.
